The Beauty of Princess Tutu

Hello dancers! For any of you that like to watch anime, there is an old anime series from 2002 titled Princess Tutu. The animation may not be as new as recent japanese anime series, but it maintains its nostalgic feel. It properly animates ballet moves and uses music pieces from the most recognized classical ballets. It is a magical girl anime made by Ikuko Itoh inspired by  the story "The ugly duckling" and mainly the ballets "Swan Lake" and "The Nutcracker." Currently the show's first season is only available on Prime Video, but perhaps you'll be able to find the whole series somewhere else if you search long enough. Anyway, whether you like anime or not, I definitely recommend this show as it still inspires me to dance to this day. The picture is what the show looks like, all credit goes to Ikuko Itoh. Take care everyone!

Keep on Dancing!
